Indulge in my brief reminiscence

Few days more to 2009. My holidays expired yesterday and I'm still at home. Surprised?? I am too actually. Not sure if i've made the best decision but I just want to spend the best of my last week here. I hope 2009 will be a whole new year for me.

Well, I'm skipping the first week to celebrate new year here ( not my real intention though) and I'm hoping that it would be a good one. Christmas was pretty different this year. Doesn't seem like Christmas at all. Anyhow, I had dinner with my family and we went to Mid Valley to watch IP MAN. It was a great show. Like it.

Shifted house about two weeks before Chinese New Year and though things were a bit messy then, we've been keeping up slowly clearing and bringing in new stuff from time to time. So yea, its a much better place to live in now. We even had the orphans performing Lion dance during CNY. Some of you did watch it and it was a charity for the Ti-Ratana kids.

During my 'end-of-the-year' holidays which is May - July, I went to Langkawi with my family, Genting with friends, get to know new friends, hang out with friends, more hang outs with friends searching for food and things like that. It was a great holiday.

Then came Year 2 in my university life. Nothing stopped me from going back whenever I want, I just don't bother, pack my bags and leave on Friday as long as i like it. As if I own that place. hehe. Anyway, the first half of my 2nd year wasn't that bad after all and it was full of experiences. I get to know people from other universities, engineers, I was involve with more activities to keep myself busy. I experience a path of being a creative inventor - which wasn't so creative after all and also help out the Indian cultural society - being a volunteer and the list goes on.

Well, I got the chance to w atch 2 concerts this year courtesy of bro's friend and dad. hehe. Jay Chou in the beginning of the year and Hacken Lee in November. Jay Chou's concert was quite fun to me and its interesting while Hacken Lee in Genting was great. Something which i did not expect. Well, I would love to see Hacken's concert again but with better seats. hehe.

Birthday parties.. I celebrated my 21st birthday at home and I'm glad that you all came, thank you very much. I must say it was a nice one and it leads me to meet my primary schoolmates again which we've lost contact for almost 10 years. I'm glad that we have the chance to meet up again. =) Besides, I've attended quite a number of birthday parties and celebrated some friend's birthday. All was good, we've finally breakthrough the legal age.. =P

Things weren't too good towards the end of the year. Well, I personally felt that way. It was rather bumpy for me. Though there were happy times, of course, but there were countless bad times too. Its just that others don't see it. Somehow, I managed to handle it along the way and I've learned 3 things - to endure, to love and to be patient. The other thing is friendship. I think we lose some of them, but i hope it could be fixed.

Well, that's all from me...A 2008 wrap up. Start writing your New Year resolutions. =)

Happy New Year.
