Bali Part II

The following day we went to Ubud market..The place where its said to get the best bargain of everything..but hey, go early in the morning if you want the best price. =)

food and clothes..

Exactly anything you want...just name it

Accesorries, decorative items, A - Z..

The babi guling shop..

Its actually like our 'siu yuk' but it doesn't taste right there.. Its so horrible, I feel like vomitting.. eewww.. Anyway, this is in Ubud while the best place to have babi guling is in Nusa Dua.. Thats what they say.. Will try it out next time, if I have the chance.

Babi guling that taste so horrible.. yucks.

Then, there were visits to temples...Some really unique ones. Here I have, a temple with a folklore and the other, situated right on top of the cliff and we need to put on a sarong to go in. Its a holy temple.

The folklore of this Tanah Lot Temple is kinda long and I couldn't remember it well, but I'd like to cut it short. Sometime ago, a priest was bullied[or something happenned, I don't know], so he just somehow shifted the temple offshore and stayed there. How did he do it??..I have totally no idea. Anyway, I don't know how true is it..Its just a legend. So when its high tide, there's no way you can get to the temple, unless with a boat. The unique part is, you can just walk across to the temple when it is low tide.

Temple offshore, high tide.

See the rocks linking to the temple??you can just walk across when its low tide.

This is another temple in Uluwatu, which is right on top of the cliff..And they are really strict with tourists who comes and visit the temple. We're not allowed to go in to the temple itself, just hang around the grounds of it and take some pictures. Oh like what I mentioned earlier, you'll have to put on a sarong and tie a ribbon round your waist [provided and FOC] if you're not wearing long pants/skirt.

The temple is just right up there..

For once, I wanted a change in the breakfast..Rather than American breakfast everyday, I tried their local Nasi goreng Indonesia. Hmm..pretty disappointing, its nothing special. After that, we head to Kuta town, walk around, look see look see...and went to the airport..

Nasi Goreng Indon..

I've tried their Mc Donalds too.. the turnover is very much faster than in KL because the meat is just so fresh..The fries is almost the same as ours but their McFlurry is a bit smaller in size. I had their McFlurry Caramel - hmm..nice. =) I'm a big fan of McD. haha

The trip's good and would love to go there again, I want to see the dolphins in Lovina and so many other places. =)
