With miles and miles of white sandy beaches, clear azure waters, hilltops and valleys lies the town of Kudat. Its main attraction nearby is the Tip of Borneo whereby the Sulu Sea and South China Sea converges. However beautiful this place is, people are not encouraged to swim in this area due to the undercurrent I suppose. So, we can only enjoy the breathtaking scenery..

The tip of Borneo is actually the 'ear' of the East Malaysia map/dog's ear they call it and geographically, its just rocks. Like the one shown below.

I stayed in Kudat Golf and Marina resort and the only entertainment or things you can do there is golfing, swimming, drinking and gambling, Oh they do have slot machines there...The best part of the night was driving around in Kudat town searching for mamak. Haha..
Sunset view from the resort
Soon we came to this really clean shop (seldom see mamaks so clean), sat and ordered. As usual I'll order later as I was contemplating which to order. I'm not a fan of Roti Canai, it doesn't taste good these days and didn't feel like wanting a mee goreng. I dropped the idea of ordering anything until I saw the Roti Canai dad ordered. I was surprised, tried it and ordered one for myself. It was good. Trust me, you wouldn't find it in KL. Oh, how I wish I could ship the guy to peninsular, then we could all have finger lickin' good roti canai.. hehe
The mee goreng is nice too..yummy..
There, its big, its crispy, its delicious
It would be a waste if you don't visit the fish market when you're in Kudat. There were variety of fishes, small to big and there were even some which we rarely see in the peninsular. Maybe we've never seen it before too..Most tourists will at least buy some regardless of where they are from while these fish mongers have packing service. They'll provide lots of ice if you were to travel back to KK or flying over to the peninsular..Mum was so excited upon looking at those fishes..I guess she wished she could bring all home..hahaha =P
Well, I guess thats all about Kudat for now.. There's some other attractions along the way before arriving at Kudat such as the Honey Bee farm (we did stopped there) and the Rungus Longhouse. The journey from KK tu Kudat takes about 2 hours and the road is pretty much hilly but just enjoy the scenery..Something different. =)
