Convocation Fair 2008 Part II

The first day of the fair wasn't too good for us...maybe its just the first day, so not many drop by and plus our booth was located quite a distance away from all the other booths.. Some may not know bout it..But then again, we took it positively that it was a good start.

The fair this time wasn't really a good time.. The weather was always cloudy and it rained especially in the evenings. We used up our mornings for maintenance, from changing routes to cleaning and fixing whats destroyed while our nights were for business. The next 3 nights were simply great and everyone was exhausted. We didn't get to rest throughout the night and sometimes we open till midnight. It was a good thing anyway..hehe. I'm glad that everyone played their part well, cooperate with each other to make our maze a great success..Post mortem's not here yet, probably this weekend and we'll see about the comments..

Throughout the fair, we have some regular customers.lol.Kids. We offered hampers if people manage to come out of the maze in a certain duration,say 35 seconds..OR if they enter 5 times, we'll give them the hamper too.. so kids were our best customers, they really want it..hahaha. We are clever too.. we change route everyday, or make it even tougher for them to go through - the ghosts. Anyway, we still give out a few...Some were afraid to try, but they still go in..So they screamed while they were in there..Very funny, some even cried (maybe they see the 'real' ones inside..hehe), some ran out through the entrance and some fell down while they were inside.. they just freak out!!..But honestly, hehee..i myself don't dare to walk in alone at night..just have the eerie feeling..lolx.

Ouh yea..tearing it down on monday night??..We cleared everything up in less than hour.. imagine that..hehe..Setting it up is the one that kills..

Hmm...overall, i learned many things during the 6 days from preparation to the actual days and to tearing it down..hehe and had a bit of fun too. Yes, it was realllllllly exhausting..gosh. But getting to know everyone was great too..Finally, thanx to all that helped. You guys did a good job!! Thats all. =)
