I've learned a lot of things during the trip besides having fun. Thanx to Penang branch committees who have did their best in preparing everything for us and bringing us to savor the local food although some of us have been there umpteen times. Chauffering us everywhere is not an easy task..but yea, we did enjoy the sight seeing though. Guess all of us must have put on some weight..hehe Getting to know others is also essential. At least we know Engineers are not square people..hehe. I'm glad to know other students in the student chapter and also engineers from various branches and different disciplines. We've got to know lots of information from you guys too.. I won't be going to Bangkok for YAPFEO end of this year but maybe i'll be attending the Charity Dinner next week...so hope to see you guys again real soon and have fun! =) Its nice meeting all of you..
To my dear friends who are studying engineering, to get your Ir. title or professional engineer, you must at least go through 3 years experience in your field..and there are a few more other requirements.I think you can get that in the BEM website. Those who are in the civil engineering discipline, apparently 3 years experience is not good enough, the panel may fail you..probably they think 3 years of experience its too short..So, maybe you can get more experience before going for the Ir. test and for telecommunications engineer, a degree is not enough...Its better if you do your master.. Other disciplines..so far, i haven't got infos on it.. but i will soon, hopefully..hehe.
Below are the pictures of me and the other 4 committees who attended the National Summit...
