Me & My Irresponsible dream

I dream to travel around the world, to leave everyone behind, to see whats on every part of the world and to find the best place to reside. To live in a cottage with lush green sceneries, to live simply with a cup of hot chocolate with marshmallows every night.
How carefree. How naive.

When reality strikes, it is just a dream. An irresponsible dream.
Such dreams comes in handy when I'm all worked up. To be stuck in my own world for a moment makes me come back easily and move on.

But then again, keep in mind we always have our loved ones around us. No matter how difficult life could be, I'm sure we'll pull through.
When there's a will, there's a way.
Don't give up.

Blame it on the work stress

When it comes to planning, I think one of the best professionals will be an actuary. They give you the best premium rates, risks and bla bla bla.. But when it comes to life planning, probably a lil' too dreamy. hahaha.. Before this, Zi came up with a 5 year plan for Shu Yi - getting a girlfriend to marriage. Today, unexpectedly, she gave me a 2 year plan instead =.=" haha Zi's hinting something, girls! hahaha Sorry Zi! =P Just joking.

We were talking about my internship choices and she was asking me questions after questions before resorting to this (below).

天真的朋友 ;)

Yikes, I wonder what did EY do to my friend, that she's dreaming on broad day light. Blame it on the work stress.. hehe. Oie kerja la, chatting! =) I liked your idea though, wait till I become the boss! =P

My breakie and lunch today cost me rm4.80 I think, just for the McD coffee and I had a whole lot of filling stuff to eat. But the coffee made me so dizzy. yikes. Well, Joo knew I wouldn't even wake up at 8am just to have breakfast, especially on a Wednesday morning. The day that I embrace the opportunity to have my beauty sleep. So, she packed for me instead. yeay!! Thanx Joo!

stuck with TOPSIS & McD breakie

Because I've been stuffing myself with food this week [blame it on the work stress..hehe], I'll have a 3-5 days detox plan after my test on Friday. I definitely need that!

ps: There's always a solution to everything. With positive thoughts, the day will be better. =)

Making it happen!

I admire Chung Seng's courageous move to go on a vacation by himself without even worrying about anything else. All he did was, wake up one morning, headed to KL Sentral to get his tickets to Hatyai. Oh by the way, he didn't even know where to go in Hatyai! Later, he decided to head to Koh Lipe, and you can get to know more about it here! Its awesome! I've always dream of going on such a random journey, but haven't got the opportunity to do so. I'll being living my dream, somehow. Very soon! =)

Speaking about CS's adventure, reminds me of Aunty Winnie's journey to England in her yesteryears. One birthday, she received a ticket to go on board a ship, and her destination was England. It was a challenge in fact, by her colleagues - they chipped in for the ticket. She took on the challenge, board the ship without much possessions and went off just like that. Her voyage to England has earned her so much experience which includes settling down with a beautiful family.

In the recent years, she came back and we had family gatherings. That was the first time, we kids, were introduced to this brave aunt of ours. It is fascinating, she chose the path less taken and it turned out to be a wonderful journey.

ps: life could be colorful, its up to us. =)

Valentines Day

Happy Valentines Day!!...May all enjoy this auspicious day =)

Everyday's a V-day, some say. To some, it sounds unromantic. To others, it may be acceptable. To florists and restaurateurs it is absolutely a bad thing. hahaha.

Its been quite some time since I've scribbled here. So here's a lil' something.

It is 2011 now, but I've not post my 2010 wrap-up. I'll try, when my mood comes. I kept reminiscing December since the start of the year and hence the title of my song. Oh Darn! Am I moving backwards? But December was one of my best months last year. If I could, I would have stayed in the memory.

Coming back to reality. Lets see whats coming.

2 months to completion of FYP. Relief.
3 months to leaving Uni. Yeay!
3 1/2 months to going through a new test : The distance. Hmm..

At this point, I find life to be weird. haha.. However colorful it was back then, I don't know whats lying ahead of me. It seems blank even if I have a plan. Ahh, my wishful thinking.

I just wish that everything goes smoothly this year.

Long awaited 2011.

I welcomed the new year with consecutive days of tears; tears of joy, tears of sorrow, I don't know and I already have a new nickname, "Angree". Sounds horrible but funny.

Phew...2011, the long awaited year. =)

It is finally here but it doesn't seem like what its supposed to be anymore. I'm beginning to live in contradiction or denial, whatever it is...On one hand, I'm excited because I'm graduating this year, while on the other hand, finishing school means I have to live with his absence for sometime. Then, it confuses my mind. haha. It is so weird. Thinking of it weakens me so I think I have to start injecting positive thoughts in me everyday. Aye, my mind is always ahead of myself and it annoys me at times.

I only have A new year resolution this year but I'll cancel it because it is useless for me and I figured that it isn't a must to have new year resolutions, so long as I stick to achieving my goals. I do have many wishes though. =)

2011 will be the beginning of a new chapter in life. How I'll miss uni life, I'm not very sure about it. What God has in store for me, I'll find out soon. I hope His riddles aren't too tough. What I'm sure of is that I'll embark on a new journey. I'll gear up for new challenges ahead. =)

Wishing for a smooth sailing 2011!

*CheeRs*

ps: I hope you will gear up too!

Billion-haire now

I guess we've all had our billionaire dreams once in awhile till today. Questions like "What am I gonna do if I have a billion dollars? How am I to spend it, so on and so forth.." would appear in our minds.. 'I wanna be a billionaire, so freaking bad...buy all of the things I never had...' sounds so familiar yea..

I've heard of so many dreams - from ships to private jets to living in the sky and planting huge expensive trees, all the way till owning the moon. The sky's the limit.hehe. We've always wondered, well at least, I've always wondered how these wealthy people spend their money. I really don't know. Maybe, maybe, one day when I'm there, I'll know. ;)

As for me, besides having a comfortable life, I would love to help the poor and the orphans/old folks. Not by donations but providing these poor kids with good education. On top of that, to provide better shelter for families who are still living in shacks..and their children will be able to grow up in a proper environment. For the orphans/old folks, there's so much we could do including showering them with love and care. With billions and billions of dollars, I'm sure they can have proper meals (Not hinting that the homes are abusing the orphans/old folks, its just part of my dreams). =)

*Spread the love*

August: A transformation

You'd probably think I had knocked my head on the wall with this sudden decision but I can assure you, everything is going well. I woke up one fine day and realized that I have improvements to make. But of course it didn't just came to me in a night. Major or minor, I don't really care because it includes everything.

I'm coming by very well, but I have yet to achieve my target. Maybe some would have notice the change, some not...I'm still working it out bit by bit because it ain't an easy task. But what I need is improvements. Look out for what will come in September.

Oh by the way, Happy Independence Day, Malaysia.

No more 'agendas', please.

Last semester was very much unexpected with all kinds of Agendas.

The term kicked off very badly, with myself being lost in my own world most of the time and barely paying attention to my lecturers. Oh, I still looked at them when they were teaching while my mind wandered elsewhere. =P Sorry teachers, I can’t help it. However, it ended pretty well when I least expected it.

…Probably I did the right thing. =) Thank God.

Anyway, the most exciting part would be the economics project – business for 2 days. My group sold Lok Lok and we managed to make some profit out of it too since no one else was selling it. Having to see people eat and eat and eat and eat…while money flows in. hehehe. It was a good experience. I bet everyone had a good time, though it was very hot. Well, I think I spent quite a lot in the stall next to mine too. They were selling some Sarawak dessert. Ish ish ish, lucky you people!!

Street Steamboat menu

What a name for a company to sell lok lok

Second best would of course be the Robot project. It was one of the projects that every other guy would want to take charge of – hold on to the robot and play with it. Yes, it was a success and an experience for those who are not Robocon members. We had a competition at the end of the day, it was quite exciting and funny, seeing all kinds of shapes of robot arms on the go. Well, I realized I'm not very into it after all, I'm just not good in programming but its a learning process. Even the exam question was about this robot! No chance of escaping it. haha.

Robot by Cytron technologies

Modified into Bumblebee!

As usual there were assignments and project datelines to rush for…Which we definitely, managed to hand in, in time. When there’s a will, there’s a way. Be optimistic!

Alright, enough of all the crap.

I’m excited actually. Looking forward to the following semester, not because of the new library… but because I’m A FINAL YEAR STUDENT, finally!! And the fact that I’m one step closer to my goal Hahaha. There’s just 2 more term to endure, I hope everything goes well , nothing bad pops up and please people, pray for me! =) Bless me!

Somewhere comfy

My dream since young is to live in a penthouse and to cruise in one of my favourite cars BMW 318/ Cooper S or even a VW beetle..whichever I can afford. This would be a rather glamourous life.

Pic taken in Zurich, I think.

As I grow up, all these changes...

Sometimes I rather live by the beach...Watch the sunrise/sunset, become one of the beach girls and breathe the sea breeze. I could roam freely and even take a nap in a hammock in the evenings..Who knows I can master all the water sports.

Sometimes I rather live in a cottage far far away in the countryside..Own a big-enough-land to plant vegetables/lots of flowers; ride horses, ponies or even donkeys and having a cup of hot chocolate on cold, freezing nights - so comfortable. This would be an ideal way to lead a really simple and easygoing life. No worries & emo moments.

*Speaking of VW beetle reminds me of Grandpa's Jade Green one...Remember the times we always run around and climb on the car,Serena??..I guess its now in one of the collectors' hands*

If I could have a smile like yours

I always like to clear things up fast, especially misunderstandings.

If it was my fault, I would apologize. I couldn't wait any longer, I'll keep thinking of it, I couldn't sleep, I couldn't continue doing anything, my mood changes there and then and I definitely feel very guilty. I couldn't stand this kind of situation. That's me.

Despite all of the above, I still have a question I've been longing to ask. Unfortunately, I couldn't bring out my courage to hear the answer - afraid it might not be what I want to hear. I just didn't have the confidence. But on the other hand, I'm curious. I want to know what lies beneath. Sadly, I'm not courageous enough. Instead, I'll just be patient. The answer should be somewhere in front.

Wouldn't it be good if I have a crystal ball in hand and I could see what's coming. Ahh, that would be so ideal. I'll lead an Alice in the wonderland life *dreaming*. I need not worry, nor will I always have to be few steps ahead. If it came to your senses and could be a lil' sensitive, I could lay back and relax because I don't want to be ahead of you all the time.

The weird dam

The steep stairs were scary. Deep down below was gallons of water, and the scenery was quite a beauty, with light brown walls surrounding this place. The structure made me feel like it was a dam because there were channels on the wall, that I somewhat felt like water flows through it.

So it began with us walking down the stairs at a really slow pace..There were 3 of us and we were in our complete sports outfit. Each step is quite high, and that makes us slow down a lot. When we arrived at the platform below, there were few old people and they were practicing their tai-chi.

It was 10am. All of a sudden, a middle-aged man appeared out of nowhere and told us to run before it was too late. Moments later, water was gushing out of all the channels on the wall and you can see it the water rising really fast. The level was catching up to us. We ran up the stairs and surprisingly, this time, it felt like there were so little steps and we managed to climb so fast....So it was a dam.

Then, I woke up. I didn't get to see what happened after that..The best part is this isn't my first time seeing this place. I have this very same dream for a few times long ago and I dreamt bout this again last week.
